Space-O Technologies is the development partner behind Umego, a social experience platform built for people in Hong Kong. No web-based platform connected people with similar interests through real-life activities such as yoga, coffee brewing, and cycling. Space-O Technologies built a web platform where users book experiences, match through date ideas, and chat or video call. The platform runs on PHP, Yii, MySQL, AWS, Stripe, Quickblox, and Twilio. Users purchase vouchers and activate them instantly from their email inbox.

About T-Cap
T-Cap is a web-based digital time capsule that lets users save photos, videos, audio, and documents online. Files open and reach recipients on the date and time the user sets.
Before T-Cap, the client kept private details on physical storage, which could be misplaced. The client wanted cloud storage that could send information to family on a chosen date. No such solution existed, and existing platforms offered limited storage with no option to buy more.
Space-O Technologies built T-Cap around four capsule types: Time Capsule, Countdown Capsule, Digital Will Capsule, and Self-destruct Capsule. Each type serves a different purpose and needs different units and timelines. Admins manage units, referrals, and discounts, while users create capsules and buy storage units.
How We Built T-Cap’s Digital Time Capsule Platform
The client partnered with Space-O Technologies to turn a personal idea into a secure platform for storing and delivering memories. Six core systems shaped the build.
Four-Capsule Architecture
Requirement:
The client wanted four capsule types, each serving a different purpose with its own units and timelines.
Solution:
We built Time, Countdown, Digital Will, and Self-destruct capsules on one platform. Time capsules send files on a set future date. Digital will capsules send files only in case of death. Countdown capsules send files, and self-destruct capsules delete them, when the owner fails to reset the timer.
Cloud Storage Integration
Requirement:
The client wanted to move private details from physical storage to more secure cloud storage.
Solution:
We built integrations with Google Drive and Dropbox so users can store images, audio, video, and text in cloud storage. Users approve an authorization prompt once, then upload media files directly to their drive.
Scheduled Delivery and Encryption
Requirement:
The client needed stored information to reach family automatically on a chosen date, without losing security.
Solution:
We built scheduled delivery that sends capsule contents to recipients on the date and time the user sets. Users can reset that date and time when plans change. Capsules are encrypted, and only the recipient knows the password.
Flexible Storage Units and Pricing
Requirement:
Existing platforms offered limited storage and no way to buy more.
Solution:
We built a unit-based storage system where users buy extra units to expand storage. Admins set unit and capsule prices and can give free units to all or selected users. New users receive 5 free units to create capsules up to five years long.
Payments, Referrals, and Discounts
Requirement:
The platform needed flexible payment options and a way to reward users who bring in new customers.
Solution:
We built payments via credit card, debit card, PayPal, Bitcoin, and other cryptocurrencies. A referral system awards points when a referred user registers and buys units. Collected points set the discount percentage a user receives.
Admin Dashboard and Earning Reports
Requirement:
Admins needed to manage users, units, and earnings in one place.
Solution:
We built a dashboard showing active users, total units sold, and referrals. Admins filter users by gender, age range, and capsule type, and export earnings reports by platform and payment mode in PDF and Excel.

Monitor sales and earnings by platform and payment mode, view weekly, monthly, or yearly reports, and export them as PDF or Excel.
Create a Capsule
Create a capsule based on the units in your account, and choose a time, digital will, countdown, or self-destruct type.
Reset Capsule Event Date and Time
Reset the capsule’s event date and time whenever plans change, and purchase additional units to increase your storage space.
Add Your Memories to Cloud Storage
Authorize your storage drive when prompted, then upload media files directly into it to keep memories safe and organized.
Payment Facility
Pay by credit card, debit card, PayPal, Bitcoin, or other cryptocurrencies, and use discounts, coupons, and gifts when buying points.
Get Free Storage as a First-Time User
Receive 5 free unit points as a first-time user to create capsules up to five years long, with room to expand.
