With a background in the taxi booking industry, the client recognized the need for a broader service offering. The client envisioned an app that could provide more than just taxi services, catering to a range of on-demand needs like grocery shopping and food delivery.
He already had a base app ready. He contacted us for enhancements to make ridesharing and delivery accessible, affordable, and convenient for everyone.
Understanding his requirements we created an app that provides a fast and convenient way to get from point A to point B. We developed an app for both iOS and Android platforms, using Laravel for backend development. With just a few taps on your smartphone, you can request a ride or delivery, track your driver’s progress, and pay for your ride or delivery all in one place.
We integrated real-time tracking for better service monitoring, a user-friendly interface for easier navigation, and a transparent pricing system for clarity and trust. Apart from this, we focused on enhancing user experience and functionality, integrating advanced options like the ability to book female drivers. We also utilized several key libraries like GoodieBag’s Pinview for OTP verification, Facebook’s Account Kit for easy login, Edmodo’s Android Image Cropper for image picking, and Firebase’s suite (including FirebaseAuth, Core, and Crashlytics SDK) for authentication, app management, and performance monitoring. This resulted in the creation of a user-centric app experience.
