Odoo Functional Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and analytical Odoo Functional Consultant with hands-on experience in implementing, customizing, and supporting Odoo ERP solutions across diverse business domains. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical development, ensuring that the ERP system optimally supports organizational goals.
The consultant will be responsible for analyzing client needs, configuring Odoo modules, coordinating with technical teams for customization, and providing end-user training and ongoing support.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  

• 4+ years of proven experience in Odoo Functional Consulting or ERP implementation.
  
• Strong understanding of business processes (Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, HR, etc.) and how they map to Odoo modules.
  
• Hands-on experience in Odoo versions (v13 and above preferred).
  
• Proficiency in functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and end-user training.
  
• Strong documentation, analytical, and presentation skills.
  
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  
• Odoo Functional Certification is a plus.
  
• Experience in project management or ERP rollouts across industries.
  
• Familiarity with Odoo Studio and API integrations.
  
• Basic understanding of Python or Odoo’s technical framework will be an added advantage.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Odoo functional solutions.
  

• Configure, customize, and implement Odoo modules according to client and project needs.
  
• Conduct gap analysis to identify business process improvements and recommend scalable Odoo-based solutions.
  
• Provide expertise across core Odoo modules including Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, CRM, and HR.
  
• Collaborate with the technical team to develop and test custom modules and integrations.
  
• Prepare and maintain detailed functional documentation, including process flows, system configurations, and test cases.
  
• Manage and support end-to-end implementation cycles, including requirement gathering, testing, and go-live support.
  
• Deliver user training sessions and ensure smooth adoption of Odoo ERP functionalities.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues during and post-implementation.
  
• Support data migration, system upgrades, and third-party integrations as needed.
