GospelKinnect: Social Event Management App
Faith communities, artists, and speakers across North America had no shared place to publish their gatherings, so events went unnoticed by the people most likely to attend. Space-O Technologies built GospelKinnect to close that gap. Organizers publish an event with cost, time, venue, and images, then manage several at once from a single dashboard. Attendees find what is happening within 50 miles or search any city by name, buy tickets in the app, and receive reminders 48 and 24 hours beforehand. Between events, curated video, music from community artists, and news updates keep people returning. The mobile application runs on iOS and Android.

About GospelKinnect
GospelKinnect gives a community one place to publish gatherings and one place to find them. Organizers stop relying on word of mouth and scattered social posts. Attendees stop missing events happening a few miles away.
The app handles the full path from discovery to attendance. Someone finds an event, buys a ticket without leaving the app, and receives reminders as the date approaches. Map and call options sit on every listing, so getting there involves no separate search.
It also functions as a marketing platform. Subscribed users and organizers post and promote their own events rather than requesting admin approval for each one. That opens publishing to the wider community instead of restricting it to a central team.
How We Built the Event Management App
The engagement covered UI/UX design, native iOS and Android builds, and quality assurance. Event apps carry a specific failure risk, which is emptiness. A calendar with nothing on it gives users no reason to return, so the product needed value between events as well as around them. Six core modules make up the delivered app.
Event Creation and Organizer Dashboard
Requirement:
Admins and approved members needed to publish events carrying the details an attendee actually checks before deciding.
Solution:
The add event flow captures cost, time, place, description, and images. Each published listing gives attendees attend, map, and call options directly. Organizers running several events manage all of them from one dashboard rather than tracking each separately, which matters for anyone hosting on a recurring schedule.
GPS Event Locator With Dual Search Modes
Requirement:
People needed to find relevant events quickly, both close to where they are and in a city they plan to visit.
Solution:
We built a GPS locator with two modes. By Location returns events within a 50-mile radius of the user. By City searches any location by name, which serves people traveling or planning. A Featured section sits above both, giving admins a way to surface significant gatherings.
In-App Ticketing
Requirement:
Interest fades quickly. Attendees needed to commit at the moment they discovered an event rather than later.
Solution:
We integrated ticketing so users purchase directly inside the app. No redirect to an external site interrupts the decision. Organizers get a clear view of sales as they happen, which tells them what is working while there is still time to act on it.
RSVP and Timed Push Notifications
Requirement:
People who fully intend to attend still forget. The app needed to reach them before the date arrived.
Solution:
RSVP registers intent, and push notifications follow at 48 and 24 hours before the event. Two reminders at those intervals give someone time to plan and then a prompt on the day before. Attendance rates depend heavily on this, since forgetting is a bigger problem than disinterest.
Video, Music, and News Content Hub
Requirement:
The client wanted a destination people opened between events, not a calendar checked occasionally.
Solution:
We built three admin-managed sections. Video carries clips and recorded performances. Music streams songs from community artists. News covers announcements and updates, including ticket sales figures. Together they give the app a reason to exist on days when nothing is scheduled.
Community Publishing and Event Promotion
Requirement:
Organizers needed to promote their events and reach the right audience without manual outreach.
Solution:
We gave subscribed users a toolkit to post and promote their own events. Artists, speakers, and smaller groups publish without going through a central admin. The platform grows through its own community rather than depending on one team to source and enter everything.
