About Renovs
Renovs is a web-based interior design consultation platform that connects homeowners with designers who share their sense of style. Homeowners find a designer, chat with them, and book a call for personalized decorating and furnishing advice.
Before Renovs, no online platform offered quick, affordable design advice. Hiring a designer meant paying for a full design and furnishing plan. Homeowners also could not filter designers by their design style.
Space-O Technologies built Renovs around two roles: homeowners and interior designers. Homeowners pay a minimal consultation fee instead of full design fees. Designers get one dashboard for projects, messages, and earnings. The client charges USD 30 or 50 per consultation and still profits after paying designer fees.

Style-Based Designer Discovery
Requirement:
Homeowners could not filter designers by design style on existing platforms.
Solution:
We built a designer browsing experience with filters for location, customer ratings, design style, and room type. Homeowners can also view designer portfolios before choosing one.
Designer Profile and Portfolio Onboarding
Requirement:
Designers needed a way to present their style and past work so homeowners could judge the fit.
Solution:
We built a registration flow that captures each designer’s style, specializations, room types, and contact details. Designers then add a profile picture, cover image, introduction, and portfolio of previous home designs.
In-Platform Chat for Pre-Consultation Briefing
Requirement:
Homeowners need to explain their space and requirements before a session, without hiring a designer.
Solution:
We built an in-platform chat where homeowners share photos of their home and describe their requirements. Designers review these messages and prepare ideas before the consultation begins.
Consultation Scheduling and Secure Payments
Requirement:
Homeowners wanted short, paid sessions instead of full design engagements, and designers needed secure payouts.
Solution:
We built scheduling for 45-minute and 90-minute consultations, with payments processed securely through Stripe. Designers add their card and bank account details to receive consultation fees.
Designer Dashboard and Earnings Tracking
Requirement:
Designers needed one place to track their projects, messages, and earnings.
Solution:
We built a dashboard showing project ID, user name, consultation type, transaction amount, and transaction date. An earnings section adds a graph, completion dates, and payment status, while notifications track meetings and messages.
Ratings and Design Inspiration

Solution:
