A wearable device, connected with a mobile application that can track a Tennis players’ performance, after every session.
One of the most important feature of this app is the ‘Spin’ feature. The data collected by the wearable, shows how much did the tennis ball spin, and in which patterns/styles.
This screen of ‘Select Session,’ focuses on providing the options from where one can see specific statistics on peculiar styles they have practiced. Some of them are: FOREHANDS, BACKHANDS, SERVES, OVERHEAD and more.
This screen comes next to the Select Session page. Once any session has been selected, this page shows its details. For Eg: If the user chose FOREHANDS; then the shots that this player has played in the given category are shown, dividing it into the shots played during the training and the match itself.
This screen is a page for the players to keep a track on their growth. It includes facts like the number of players that one is following, the number of people that are following him/her and the rating that this app gives to him/her.
While making this app, it was our plan to make an app and a wearable available to the Tennis players, which allows them to follow their own progress in different tactics, while also following other players’ growth. It allows the players to follow each other and learn amidst healthy competition.
The menu screen is the one that connects the whole app together. It allows one to see the ‘Overview,’ ‘Stats,’ ‘Messages,’ Team’ and much more. Using this page one can truly handle all the components of the app in one way or another.
The 3 co-founders of this app were basically Tennis lovers. It was their aim to make an equipment and an app that allows a player to give his/her best shot, by studying and analysing their playing style and shots. Using our skills and expert developers, the Space-O Team gifted them with the app, ‘ShotStats.’
