Mainly, the USA, Europe, Australia as well as others.

How often do people from Space-O travel? What is the usual trip duration?

Amount of travel depends upon the project needs. Space-O being one of the fastest growing Mobile App Development Companies in Ahmedabad, expects that people working with them are ready to travel on a short notice. Usual duration of travel is few days to several weeks. Depending upon the project, it is also possible that Space-O might relocate an employee to a different country for a longer period.

What is the usual timeframe within which the hiring process is completed?

Normally, hiring process is completed within 1-2 weeks. The process includes initial interview by our recruiter, one technical round, one practical round if needed, a round with head of department and final round with HR.

After joining, when will I be appraised again?

We appraise every employee on yearly basis. However, we do not wait to reward people in-between who performs exceptionally well. For growth, the sky is not limit with Space-O, the only limit is what you impose on yourself.

How many days do you work per week?

We work six days a week but second and fourth Saturdays we are OFF.

What are the office timings?

9:30 am to 6:30 pm. Though depending upon the project needs, your project manager may request you to stay for long hours.

I have good technical background, but I am not very fluent in English. Can I apply?

We serve international market, hence knowledge of English is essential but not mandatory. If you are a part of technical team, it is okay if you do not have excellent command over English, but we insist that you learn as soon as possible. You must be able to speak the language as you will be dealing with your clients to understand their requirements.

I could not complete my degree because of family circumstances. Can I still apply?

Yes. We value education more than degrees and we value ability to take right actions even more than education. So, if you do not have a formal degree but you can prove that you have capabilities and intention to put those capabilities into actions, we may consider you.

Why do you reserve 10% of retention amount from the CTC as Security Deposit for a selected period of time?

We do that primarily for two reasons: First, it establishes the sense of responsibility and second, it helps you to save the money. The problem with today’s youth, as we have experienced time and again, they lack responsibility. This might not apply to you as an individual but this applies to the majority of cases. So considering the need theory and the primary location we operate from, we insist on this practice.

I have just joined today. I have a friend who can fit an open position. Can I recommend them?

Of course, you can. We do have an Employee Referral Policy where you are rewarded for referring good candidates. Talk to HR about that if you want more information.
